Business Card Design for a Golf Prize Experience Brand
Case study for a golf hole-in-one prize experience brand's team.

The Challenge
What the client needed.
An existing client needed personalized business cards produced for two team members from one established card template — each with its own name, title, contact details, and a working QR code, plus print-ready files a printer could run without issue.
Constraints
What had to be true in every graphic.
- Two working QR codes, one per team member, that had to scan correctly at true print size — an early export tested fine on-screen but came back too small to scan at 100%, and had to be re-sized and re-verified before it shipped
- Small formatting inconsistencies would show at business-card scale — name casing, icon alignment, and spacing between the website and social handle all had to match exactly across both cards
- Rounded-corner artwork requested by the client, resolved by confirming with the print shop that the corner cut happens after printing, so the delivered files were prepared to the shop's actual print-and-cut spec instead of drawn with rounded corners
- Fast turnaround tied to a live print order, with final files needed to keep the rest of the run on schedule
The Approach
How it was built.
- Rebuilt each card from the shared template, swapping in each person's name, title, and contact details while keeping the layout, icon set, and spacing identical across both versions.
- Tested every QR code at 100% print size before delivery, catching and re-exporting one that scanned fine on-screen but failed at true size.
- Matched small formatting details on request — name casing, icon-to-text alignment, and spacing — so the two personalized cards read as one consistent set rather than two separately edited files.
- Confirmed the print shop's actual corner-cutting process before touching the artwork, then delivered clean, print-ready default-size files instead of guessing at a rounded-corner effect that wasn't how the shop worked.
The Final Graphics
The completed set.

The Outcome
Where it landed.
Both personalized cards were approved and sent to print on schedule, with the corrected QR codes verified working before the files went out. The client came back for further updates to the same set afterward, keeping the two cards as the active reference for any future team members added to the design.
